This is me, Tara Tourloukis

Working with myself, an RN Psychotherapist and Clinical Nurse Specialist, you’ll have the support you need to feel empowered to increase your mental health literacy, learn coping skills, and ultimately feel better.

The Wellness Nurse was created as a response to the ever growing needs of Ontarians for skilled, timely and unique therapy.

Here’s how I got where I am today…

I’ve worked with a lot of people just like you

Education and Experience

I have two degrees, and one in the making - I have an undergrad in nursing, a Master of Psychiatric Nursing, and am currently taking a PhD in Nursing. Can you tell I love being a nurse?

How does this information help you though?

Well, I have lots of education and lots of work experience. Having worked in almost every area of mental health – outpatient therapy, psychiatric emergency, first-episode psychosis, as well as teaching mental health at the post-secondary level, means that you’re seeing someone with loads of experience.

MORE ABOUT TARA…

I’m more pug than anything else

I’m more coffee than tea

I’m more sleep in than get up early

I’m more psychological thriller than romance

Mental Health First Aid

I’ve been facilitating the course since 2018 and lots and lots of participants have had the pleasure and fun (they say it’s fun, I promise!) of completing the course. It really does make it easier for you to understand and talk to your co-worker who’s struggling with their mood, or your neighbour who tells you they’re having panic attacks.

My Life Outside of Work

My husband and I have five kids, and we currently live and thrive in Kincardine, ON. The balance is delicate, and I get where you’re coming from; managing responsibilities can be tricky, especially when it comes to achieving your work-life balance, maintaining your well-being, and fulfilling your self-care needs.

If any of this resonates with you, and you wanted to check out The Wellness Nurse to start feeling a bit better, a bit less overwhelmed, hit the button below. Let’s book you in for a no cost discovery call.
