  • I’m a registered nurse, licensed in both Ontario and Quebec, with 20+ years of experience working in chronic illness and critical care (intensive care, reproductive health, neonatology, patient education) for a wide variety of people and concerns. Along with my background in psycho-education, counseling, and wellness programming, I offer psychotherapy and coaching sessions to my clients as a Nurse Psychotherapist and Certified Holistic Nurse Coach.

My approach is nurturing, non-judgmental, and rooted in compassion and empathy. I use a holistic nursing lens and strongly believe that when a person feels seen and heard, there is enormous potential for change.

Professional training includes a Bachelors in Psychology (specializations: neuropsychology, developmental psychology and child psychology), a Masters of Applied Science in Nursing, and a certification in Holistic Nurse Coaching and Consultancy. I am also completing an internationally-recognized and accredited Breathwork Facilitator training and incorporate this modality in my offerings to clients.

I work with adults (18+yrs) and support individuals with acute or chronic conditions, new diagnoses or undergoing treatment, as well as nurses or other health care professionals who are struggling with work-life integration, trauma, and stress.

  • Feeling stuck or anxious and can’t seem to shake it? Maybe you’re feeling snappy or drained but aren’t sure why, you just know it doesn’t feel like YOU. Things like hyper-independence, people-pleasing and burnout from stress or trauma make it hard to prioritize your needs (or even know what your needs truly are!) I can help through a process of uncovering unhelpful patterns, facilitating emotional awareness, and healing past wounds that might be holding you back.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or detached and don’t yet have the words to describe it, art therapy might help! Creating art externalises your internal experiences which is helpful in processing and integrating your thoughts and feelings more deeply. For those with ADHD or who experience dissociation, art therapy offers a means to enhance focus through hands-on engagement. You don't have to be an "artist." If you can put a mark on a page and can connect with metaphor, you can do art therapy. It’s not about the final product, it’s about the process and I’ll guide you through it at your own pace. And if art isn't for you, we'll still use talk therapy approaches to get you feeling capable and confident!.
